Today I was watching 'How the Universe Works', and part of it was talking about how if we had, say, half as much water we would be a very very dry planet. But, if we had twice as much water we would be pretty much underwater and would not be able to to live technically with computers and such.
I believe that we need to take better care of our planet. It was sheer luck we got just the right amount of water. It's probably pretty rare for a planet to like ours, able to sustain life, to come into existence.
We need to understand how lucky we are. How lucky you are and I am, to have a house, to have a computer to read this post, all that you have. We're extremely, extremely lucky to own what we own. Perhaps you've heard that in billions and billion of years the world will end, but I believe we will be our own end and that it's a lot less than billions of years away, with all the pollution of the air and cutting down trees, soon we may not have any clean air to breath. With between gas and oil spills we're doing more harm than good. It's to late to go back to simpler times of farming. So help me decrease pollution and help our planet live a little longer.

Save Water!
Good morning, it's a little chilly here in Austin.
Today's post is about how you can save water.
Texas had a drought this summer and we had a lot of fires. There was a fire in my neighborhood greenbelt too, though luckily we did not have to evacuate. Me and a friend of mine walked the trails to the scene of the fire. It was in a large fieled like area ( but there was no grass, just dirt ) and we saw the charred stumps of the trees. There were large piles of shredded tree from the trees that burned.
Water is now very importent here and thats why I made this post.
Here's some tips on how to save water.
Keep a pitcher ( like the kind to hold lemonade ) at your kitchen sink. Then at the end of the day, pour the remaining water from cups around the house, into the pitcher. Then, when it is full use it to water a plant.
You can use the same pitcher for when you want hot water.
just put it under the faucet while your waiting for the water to turn hot.
You can do the same thing with a bucket for when your waiting for the shower water to change.
Hope the help you!

E.Ps
It's Anevay, here are some E.Ps
On the 15th of every month we have our One Hour power down where at 11am to 12pm turn of all electricity and go outside. Take a hike, bike ride, walk, or even just sit outside and enjoy the weather ( even if it is 110 degrees outside ). Hey, if your not to keen on leaving you TV, computer, or whatever you have, think of it this way, it will lower your electricity bill!
On the 1st of every month go outside and pick up as much trash as you can in your neighborhood.
